The Arts Across Nebraska connects Lied artists to Nebraska communities throughout the state. The program provides up to three tours every year, which are offered to presenting partners and communities in the state at an affordable rate. The Lied Center is responsible for contracting with the artist(s), routing and providing technical assistance on tour. The artist(s) usually provide a public performance, and/or student matinee or workshop in each community.

Free Enhancement Workshops for Local Students
Thanks to a generous grant from Nebraska Arts Council and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, the Lied Center is able to offer free in-school workshops to local students attending Arts Across Nebraska student matinees in 2013-2014. The sessions, delivered by the artists, enhance the impact of the matinee performance. A total of 42 workshops took place across the state as part of the Arts Across Nebraska program. In total, 7,391 Nebraskans benefited from the program in 2012-2013 (more than a 33.5% increase compared to the previous year, when the program served 5,536).
The Lied Center would like to thank the following
sponsors of the 2013-2014 Arts Across Nebraska program:
Nebraska Arts Council, Nebraska Cultural Endowment, Friends of Lied, Richard P. Kimmel and Laurine Kimmel Charitable Foundation, Julie Jacobson in honor of the 2012-2013 Friends of Lied Executive Committee and Sid Dillon.
