Performance Day Hours for Main Stage Lied Events:

Weekday Performances
Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. to 30 minutes into the show

Weekend Matinee Performances
Saturday-Sunday, 12 noon to 30 minutes into the show

Weekend Evening Performances
Saturday-Sunday, 5 p.m. to 30 minutes into the show

For all performances at the Lied Center's Johnny Carson Theater, Kimball Recital Hall, Howell, or Studio Theater, event staff will be in each venue's lobby one hour prior to the start of the performance.

If there is not a Main Stage Lied Event on the evening of shows in other venues, please refer to the ticket office’s regular hours.

Group Sales:  2013-2014 Season Group Tickets can be ordered beginning July 2, 2013

Hosting a fabulous group of friends and family, or needing a unique event for a team outing? Think Lied. We will provide a gorgeous setting and world-class entertainment—you bring the guests!

Group events provide discounts not offered if each ticket is bought individually. Groups of 20 or more will receive a 10% discount per regular price ticket. If your group is 50 or more people, you will receive a 15% discount per regular price ticket. Another reason to consider ordering group tickets; pending availability, all seats will be together.

Group orders only pay one handling fee, which can be a significant savings over the facility fee charged on each individual ticket. Even if your group ends up being fewer than 20 people, placing a group order will still save you money on fees a guest pays purchasing tickets individually. Discounts

Half-price tickets are available to most Lied presentations for students who are paying activity fees from UNL, Nebraska Wesleyan University, Concordia University and Union College. Youth age 18 and under are also eligible for half-price tickets. UNL faculty and staff can receive a 10% discount on two tickets to Lied-presented events. Ticketing Fees

Lied Center ticket fees are generated to provide compensation for the artists, and also to ensure your experience at the Lied Center is pleasant, clean and comfortable.

  • Facility Fee: $2.00 per ticket supports basic repairs and maintenance of the building.
  • Processing Fee: $1.00 per ticket supports the ticket office operations.
  • Mailing Service Fee: Optional fee that covers the added costs of mailing tickets directly to your home, avoiding long lines the night of a show.
  • Exchange Fee: Optional fee that allows single ticket buyers to exchange tickets for one show to another.

Order in Groups
Remember, group orders of 20 or more only pay one processing fee, which can be a significant savings over the facility fee charged on each individual ticket.

Audience Services & Accessibility

The Lied Center for Performing Arts strives to ensure each guest has the best experience possible at each event. Upon request, we provide the following:

  • Special seating is accessible for individuals with disabilities.
  • Assisted listening devices are provided at the coat check.
  • Sign Interpreters for patrons who are hearing impaired are available when requested two weeks prior to the event.
  • Large print programs are available for those who are visually impaired.
