Lied Center and Interdisciplinary Arts Symposium Win NEA Grant

Lincoln, NE - (May 19, 2010) The Lied Center for Performing Arts and the Interdisciplinary Arts Symposium (IAS) at the University of Nebraska‐Lincoln (UNL) have been awarded an Artistic Excellence grant from the National Endowment for the Arts for their activities in 2010-11. The grant was awarded in the amount of $25,000. The Lied Center and IAS will explore new perspectives on diversity via a series of performances and educational activities ‐ onstage and off, within the university and across the community.
