Description of Work: 

The Administrative and Development Associate provides key clerical support for the Development team and serves as the primary receptionist for the Lied’s administrative office providing superior customer service to the public, including over 1,000 statewide donors.

This position will provide administrative support for the Development department and front desk service, including processing donations and maintaining donor records, monitoring and responding to daily donor communications, and assisting with event details and RSVPs. Other functions include greeting business office visitors, answering and directing phone calls, facilitating mailing projects and package deliveries, and miscellaneous general business office tasks. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience with clerical/administrative support required. Working knowledge of general office practices, office equipment, and PC-based Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) is necessary. Customer service and organizational skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and manage several concurrent tasks is essential. Candidate must have strong attention to details and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Ideal candidate will have previous fundraising experience and administrative support experience. Prefer experience with high-volume customer service. Working knowledge of CRM/database software, and event planning. Prefer background in or appreciation of the performing arts.
