Jessie Hooker Bailey

Jessie Hooker Bailey is currently in New York City Center’s Wonderful Town playing Helen. Before that she completed the Off-Broadway run as the female standby in The Jonathan Larson Project, where she stepped in for the first few preview performances with minimal rehearsal.

Favorite credits include: Sarah in Stephen Sondheim’s Company (National Tour), Dawn (u/s) in Waitress (Broadway), Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Broadway debut), Andy (u/s, performed) in the world premiere of The Devil Wears Prada musical (Chicago), Sarah in Ragtime (Milwaukee Rep), and Rusty in Footloose(PCLO).

Jessie frequently participates in the development of new musicals and works. Beyond performing, she is a passionate musical theater educator and audition coach.
