Use a cable to connect your laptop to your TV (watch a how-to video here
The most common connection to your TV is using an HDMI cable. If your computer has an HDMI output, then you can simply use a "Male to Male HDMI Cable."

How can you figure out what cable you need? Look at the output jacks on your computer and inputs on your TV. Once you identify these you can purchase an affordable cord from Amazon or other retailers. (Schaefer's, Walmart, and Best Buy sell these types of cords in Lincoln).

Connect your smartphone to your smart TV.
Many phones and smart TV’s are compatible with apps that allow you to look up something up on your phone and then cast (send) the video to your tv for large screen viewing. Web Video Caster (Available in your phone app store for free) is one of the easiest to use.
